There’s a land beyond the river

In humble submission to the will of God, the management & staff of Sunset Memorial Chapel, Inc. sadly announces the passing of Mr. Charles A. Carter, formerly of Sylacauga, AL. The Heavenly Chorus lifted up their voices singing, “Hallelujah” upon hearing of the well-deserved rest given to our beloved brother on Tuesday, March 26, in Cleveland, OH. Mr. Carter is the brother of our staff member, Mr. George A. Carter. Yes, Mr. Charles Carter will be sorely missed. However, we are comforted by the words of Jesus, "I go to prepare a place for you, and if I go and prepare a place for you I will come again, and receive you unto myself." Goodnight, Charles. We'll see you in the morning.

Remains will lie in repose for viewing on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 from 12:00 noon to 3:00 P.M., at the funeral home. His mortal frame will be coached to its final resting place in the Lilly Rhoden Cemetery for committal and interment.
