James Alfred Carter

Mr. James A. Carter Sr. was born November 23, 1952 to the parentage of  Beulah Stamps Carter and Lennon Carter. His father Lennon Carter,; and brother, Donnie Carter all precede him in death.  

Mr. Carter was faithful employer of Imery Quarry until his health failed him.  

Mr. Carter departed his earthly life on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at his resident.

He lives to cherish his memories: three son: James A. Carter Jr., Mario Meredith, and Jarred Scott; three daughters: Petrina Carter, Haven Carter and LaSonya Garrett; seven grandchildren: Kelsey Pope, Kyle Pope, Aaliyah Carter, Derrick Carter, D’Kembi Mann,
Maurice Garrett Jr and Tyler Carter Garrett; one great grandson: Domonique Garrett Jr.; A loving and devoted mother; Mrs. Beulah Stamps Carter; five brothers: Lennon Carter Jr., Harold Carter, Micheal Carter, Dennis Ray Carter and Billy Wayne Carter; three sisters: Ernestine DeRago, Lillie M. Alexander and Patricia Packard, a special friend, Alethia Thomason;  And a host of nieces, nephews, aunts,uncles, other relatives, and friends.
