In humble submission to the Will of God, the management and staff of Sunset Memorial Chapel, Inc. sorrowfully announce the earthly departure of Deacon Jimmy Louis Crawford 50, formerly of Sylacauga,AL. On Tuesday, June 10, 2014, while in the serenity and comfort of Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, Virginia, God dispatched the Angel of Death to relay a message to Brother Jimmy, saying "I see your road is rough, and the hill is getting too steep. Come rest your head upon My breast, your soul I will keep."

A Celebration of his life will beSaturday, June 21, 2014, 1:00pm at the Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church. His mortal frame will lie in repose of his eternal crib for viewing Friday June 20, 2014 from 12:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. His earthly bed of slumber will follow in the Peace and Goodwill Cemetery. Mr. Crawford will lie in state two hours prior the service.
