Erwin Dean Williams , affectionately called “Alabama Man” . This father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend love all who came in contact with, especially if you are an Alabama Crimson tide fan.
Dean was born January 15, 1954 in Sylacauga, Alabama and departed this life peacefully surrounded by his family, on April 10, 2026 at his resident
Dean was preceded in death by his daughter Tequila Gamble, his parents, Roy Samuel Williams and Katie D. Williams, his oldest brother, Michael Roy Williams and his twin brother Durwin Gene Williams.
At an early age he received Christ and was baptized at Saint Thomas United Methodist Church.
Dean attended school at South Highland High School and Sylacauga High School.
Dean’s hobbies included building landscaping and watching Alabama Football and hanging out with family and friends.
Those who remain to mourn his passing and celebrate the life and times of Erwin Dean Williams include his children , Courtney Houser of Sylacauga, Alabama, Terrence Powell, Cobey Gamble of Sylacauga, Alabama, Nivia Averette of Alexander City, Alabama, Cynthia, Averett of Sylacauga, Alabama, Nacara Averette of Huntsville, Alabama, Triquelius “Doc” Averette of Sylacauga, Alabama, and Zsaquon Averette of Sylacauga, Alabama; One sister, Theresa W. Bledsoe of Nashville, Tennessee, and a host of other relatives and friends.
